I would like to take this opportunity to wholeheartedly thank the citizens of the First Plymouth and Bristol District for re-electing me to serve them in the Massachusetts Senate. After a hard-fought campaign, I am truly honored to have been given the opportunity to continue fighting for the people of this region. I especially want to thank my family, friends, and supporters who joined the fight and donated so much of their time and effort to our campaign. I could not have done it without your help.
As I stressed during the campaign, job creation and economic development remain my top priorities for the upcoming legislative session. I will continue to fight to bring high quality jobs to this region. I will also continue to support investments in education that will ensure our region is prepared to meet the demands of today’s economy and beyond, and I will do it in a fiscally responsible manner.
Once again, I am honored and humbled to have been re-elected to serve the people of this region. I am proud to be the Senator for all of the people of this district – even those who did not support me. Now is the time for the leaders of this region to come together and work towards a common goal, and I look forward to continuing to fight for all of us.
