To the Editor:
I have been wishing for quite awhile that Democrats would do a bit of bragging. I want President Obama to tell us every day all the GOOD he is doing. He walked into the disaster that the Republicans left behind. He has calmly worked for 6 years to get our country running again. We now have all sorts of positive economic news. More jobs, under 6% unemployment and health care for so many more people. I notice bridges being fixed, I see roads being fixed.
Locally, I attended the Meet and Greet for our State Senator, Marc Pacheco at Pier View in Onset on Sunday. Senator Pacheco listed five things in which Massachusetts is number one in the nation: Education, Economic Competitiveness, Health Care Coverage, Veterans Services and Clean Energy Jobs. This has happened with our Democratic Governor and our Democratic Legislature.
