TAUNTON — State Sen. Marc R. Pacheco, D-Taunton, hosted Senate Majority Leader Stanley C. Rosenberg, D-Amherst, in Taunton for a Business and Economic Advisory Council meeting.
About 70 men and women representing the local community, business and education sectors attended the breakfast forum at Bella Roma Restaurant.
Discussion at the event focused on the Senate’s progress with the transportation bond bill, among other legislation.
A number of Business and Economic Advisory Council attendees represented regional transportation and development agencies, including representatives from the Greater Attleboro Regional Transit Authority, R & R Transportation, A & A Metro Transportation, the Southeastern Regional Planning & Economic Development District, South Eastern Economic Development Corporation and the Old Colony Planning Council.
